With the Quick Wake Up feature, you're ready to go right after turning on the ignition. Using the Android or iOS device connection, it is now possible to mirror your smartphone screen right on the XAV-1550D display – for reliable, responsive infotainment anytime on the road.
Connect your compatible Apple or Android smartphone to mirror and control it directly from the car audio screen. An anti-glare 6.2" diagonal (15.7cm) touchscreen wakes up right after turning on the ignition and gives you intuitive control over music, communications and more. Tune into DAB+ radio for even more choice and better audio quality. The receiver picks up your DAB favourites too. The ergonomic rotary dial makes operation distraction-free. Turn it to control volume or push the integrated button to launch sound control menus. Advanced signal processing from the 4 x 55W Dynamic Reality Amp removes interference, so music sounds clear and detailed, even when you crank up the volume.
Sound waves are directional, so if your speakers are in your doors or under your dash, the audio may seem muddy or unclear. Dynamic Stage Organiser adjusts the signal, improving the stereo positioning so music sounds like it's coming from the dashboard. Tailor the sound to your personal preference with the 10–band graphic equaliser. With the three pre-outs, you can add components of your choice, like extra amplifiers and subwoofers. Have a rear camera installed? View its feed through the screen, along with customisable guidelines that help you back in safely. Despite its double-DIN display, the rear chassis is far smaller than conventional double-DIN units. This makes for much easier installation, and leaves plenty of room for cabling and other accessories in the space behind the display.
