5-6 man tents FAQs
Most 6-man tents give you somewhere around 80 to 120 square feet of space. That’s usually enough to fit six sleeping bags, or maybe two double air beds with a bit of room left over for your gear. A lot of them also have separate areas or rooms, which is really handy if you're camping with friends or family and want a bit of space to spread out or just some privacy.
What you’ll pay for a 6-man tent really depends on what you’re going for. If it’s just a basic setup, you’re probably looking at around £150-£200. If you want something bigger, maybe with blackout bedrooms or easy airbeam poles, the price can jump to between £250 and £450, sometimes even more. At Halfords, there’s a good mix. You’ll find budget-friendly family tents, but also higher-end tents built for longer trips.
