Halfords Camouflage Paint Black 400ml

The Halfords Camouflage Paint Black 400ml is a non-reflective paint made for metal, plastic, ceramic and wood. It’s quick-drying with a drip-resistant formula and leaves an ultra-matte finish. This camouflage paint is ideal for sporting equipment, wildlife photography equipment, military models, or any other surfaces where a tough, matte finish is needed. It can be applied to steel, aluminium, fibreglass, fillers and existing paintwork, as well as on most well-prepared wood, stone pottery and plastic surfaces (with the use of a suitable primer first). It’s compatible with all Halfords gloss and metallic paints and lacquers, and is temperature resistant up to 110°C once fully hardened.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE:
• To prevent accidental spraying, there’s a safety ring fitted to the can.
• Remove the nozzle and use a blunt screwdriver to remove this safety ring, ensuring you don’t damage the metal valve.
• Face the spray head away from you and replace the nozzle. (CAUTION: Paint may spray out of the nozzle when you do this)

The icons on the side of the can give you quick instructions on things like working temperature and drying times.

For best results, make sure the can is at room temperature before using it. Avoid spraying in direct sunshine, cold, damp, humid or windy weather. The recommended ambient temperature whilst painting is anywhere between +10° to +25°C.

After use, turn the can upside down and spray for around 3-5 seconds to clear the nozzle and prevent any blockages when you use it next.

Ensure you read the complete instructions and familiarise yourself with each step, and make sure you have all consumables you need to hand before you start to paint.

CAUTIONS:
*The drying time can change depending on the ambient temperature, humidity and the thickness of the coats applied. Ensure the paint is fully dry before moving onto the next stage.
Take care when preparing older paint surfaces (pre-1970) as these may contain harmful lead.
Make sure you have enough ventilation in the area you’re painting in to prevent a harmful build-up of solvent gasses.
