Your purchase will be split into 4 payments, payable every 2 weeks
Clearpay lends you a fixed amount of credit so you can pay for your purchase over 4 instalments, due every 2 weeks. Ensure you can make repayments on time. You must be 18+ and a permanent UK resident (excl Channel Islands). Clearpay charges a £6 late fee for each late instalment and a further £6 if it's still unpaid 7 days later. Late fees are capped at £6 for orders under £24 and the lower of £24 or 25% of the order value for orders over £24. Missed payments may affect your ability to use Clearpay in the future and your details may be passed onto a debt collection agency working on Clearpay's behalf. Clearpay is credit that is not regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority. T&Cs and other eligibility criteria apply at clearpay.co.uk/terms
Attach the two brackets to the front forks of the bike using the metal nuts and bolts provided, ensuring there is no contact with any moving parts. Hold the L-Plate against the brackets, and mark the width of the brackets on the plate lightly. Drill 2 parallel holes in the L-Plate, approximately 4cm from the top, and attach the L-Plate using the white plastic nuts and bolts provided. Ensure that the L-Plate is securely attached and cannot be easily moved. Or alternatively, remove the backing from the adhesive L-Plate and attach to the front of the bike in a suitable and clearly visible position.
Rear number plate mounting
Place the L-Plate against the reverse of the rear number plate of the bike, so no information on the number plate is obscured. Then drill 2 parallel holes through the number plate and the L-Plate. Both holes must be at least 4cm from each side of both plates and at least 2cm from the bottom of the number plate and top of the L-Plate. When drilling the holes, ensure no characters of the number plate are drilled through. With the yellow nuts and bolts provided, attach the L-Plate to the number plate of the bike. Ensure that the L-Plate is securely attached and cannot be easily moved.
Warning! Before every ride ensure that the L-Plates are securely attached and do not interfere with any moving parts of your bike. Halfords accept no liability for incorrect or inappropriate fitting of L-Plates and any consequences thereof.
