Tackle punctures on the go with the Tru-Tension Motorcycle Carbon Fibre Tyre Sealant, perfect for motorcycle, moped, and scooter tyres. Inject the sealant straight into your tyres before you ride to plug punctures as they happen and avoid any sudden flats.
The unique dual formula uses both carbon fibre and graphene to create a strong, permanent seal over the puncture site to prevent pressure loss and keep you moving. Not only does this reduce the need for costly repairs or tyre replacements, but it also helps to keep you safe – if you do pick up a puncture, you won’t experience any sudden pressure drops or loss of control at high speeds, meaning you can keep on riding without fear.
Directions for use:
Remove the lid from the tyre sealant bottle by pulling it out. This contains a built-in valve core remover.
Remove the dust cap from the valve on your wheel (where you pump air into the tyre).
Gradually let the air out of the tyre by pressing down on the valve.
Once the air has been removed from the tyre, place the valve core removed from the top of the bottle into the valve, and unscrew it anti-clockwise to remove the valve core.
Push the tube from the top of the bottle onto the valve housing.
Squeeze the bottle to insert the required amount of tyre sealant into the tyre (use the table to establish how much your bike needs).
Remove the tube from the valve and replace the valve core by screwing it back in (clockwise) using the valve core remover.
Represurise the tyre to the required pressure and then rotate the wheel to allow the sealant to coat the inside of the tyre.
Reinstate the dust cap onto the valve.
Once both tyres have been re-inflated, take a short and steady ride to ensure the even distribution of the sealant within the tyre.
*Note - you will need a pump to re-inflate tyres after inserting tyre sealant. Place your bike on a suitable stand and make sure it is secure. Ensure your wheels are balanced correctly.
