Extralube ZX1 Micro Oil Treatment 250ml

The Extralube ZX1 Micro Oil Treatment is a metal treatment which chemically bonds to the metal surfaces, modifying the friction surfaces so the oil can do its job better. The result is lowered carbon exhaust emissions, increased MPG, excellent cold start protection and anti-wear performance.

The EXTRALUBE ZX1 Micro Oil Metal Treatment is a particle-free fluid, which remains in colloidal suspension within the lubricating medium - be it oil, petrol, diesel or even water. It does its job, until a relatively low temperature activates the unique thermo chemical bonding process.

• ENGINE
• Remove the oil filter cap and add the required amount of Extralube ZX1 as suggested in the instruction leaflet.
• MANUAL TRANSMISSION
• Add EXTRALUBE ZX1 Micro Oil Metal Treatment to your gearbox oil up to a ratio of 5% to the oil capacity of the gearbox. This also applies to the differential/ final drive.
• AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION
• The Extralube ZX1 is suitable for use in an automatic transmission when no metal to metal friction plates are present; most modern automatics have composite fibre to metal plates. We suggest adding the ZX1 at a ratio of 2.5% to the oil capacity of the transmission.
• FUEL TANK - PETROL AND DIESEL
• To enhance upper cylinder lubrication and help reduce harmful emission, we suggest the following:
• Initial treatment: Add 10 ml per 10 litres of fuel. This is just a suggestion and if you feel that your engine would benefit from treatment at shorter intervals, use it as needed.

• Two –Stroke, Motorcycle, Out Board motor, Chain-Saw or Lawn Mower.
• With all two-stroke petrol engines, add a 5% ratio of ZX1 to your existing two-stroke oil, and then mix that oil to the petrol as recommended by the oil manufacturer.
• With Chain-Saws, you can also add a 5% ratio of ZX1 to your sticky chain oil. It will keep the saw sharper longer and will make the chain guide bar last longer.
• ZX1 CAN BE APPLIED NEAT ON TO A MOTORCYCLE CHAIN
• The best way to treat chains is to apply hot ZX1 (ZX1 bonds at 60ºC) to a clean chain with a clean paint brush, let it penetrate and bond then after using the bike whilst the chain is still warm from use, spray with C60, this will keep the chain in good shape and reduce drag as you will not need a sticky chain lube, some of our customers have remarked that it dramatically reduces chain stretch.
• Most customer who treat their chains in this way heat the ZX1 by placing a some ZX1 into a clean tin, within a pan of boiling water so that it gets to approximately 100˚C.
• OTHER APPLICATIONS.
• ZX1 Micro Oil Metal Treatment can be used anywhere that friction occurs, such as in engineering applications to extend tool life whether milling, grinding or using a lathe. ZX1 can be added to your normal soluble or non-soluble cutting oils as it works well in water or water-based lubricants as it does with engine lubricants.
