How does a turbocharger work?
A turbocharger or “turbo” is an induction device which increases the power of your engine, by pushing more compressed air into its cylinders. This increases the internal combustion in your engine, so it can burn fuel at a faster rate.

When should your turbocharger be replaced?
Most car turbos last somewhere between 100,000 and 150,000 miles – which could be as long as you own your vehicle, so they don’t need replacing very frequently. However, if you notice significant power loss, an increase in exhaust smoke or a whining engine, it’s worth checking to see if your turbocharger has blown.

If you need to return an item we'll happily offer a refund as long as this is within 28 days of delivery, in its original packaging and you have proof of purchase.

There are several easy ways to return your item(s):

  • FREE in-store returns*
  • by post

You can return an item for FREE to a Retail store, but if you choose to return by post you'll need to cover the cost of postage.  However, if the item you're returning is faulty we'll refund the postage once we've received the item and checked the fault.
