HALFORDS CAR PARTS EXPRESS: HOW DOES IT WORK?
Our car parts can currently be delivered to home or ordered and picked up instore (Order/Click and Collect)
Our Click and Collect service allows customers to place an order online or instore for Products through our website and collect them from our designated collection point within sixty (60) minutes.
For home delivery parts are ordered to your home or place of work in five working days. Deliveries to the Scottish Highlands or other remote locations may take an extra day.
We understand that ordering car parts online can be a bit of a pain. If it isn’t the long wait or inconvenient delivery slots, it’s the worry about quality or if the new part will even fit in the first place. Our car parts click and collect and delivery service is designed to get you the right part, right when you need it – with high quality, trusted replacement parts and speedy, convenient delivery at its heart. So how does it work?
Shopping online
Step one: Choose your parts
The first thing you’ll need to do is head over to the Halfords Car Parts Express page on our website.
Here, you’ll be able to choose from over 130,000 car parts for thousands of vehicles. You can browse the range for the correct parts for your vehicle, or simply type in your car registration and our system will pull up compatible parts. After you’ve added the parts that you need to your online basket, it’s time to check out.
Step two: Select your delivery method
Once you’re happy with your selection, it’s time to get everything delivered. If you’re shopping online, then you’ll be presented with two options:
-
1. In-store collection (Click and Collect)
Convenient Click and Collect is available online. Just make your selection and head in-store when you receive your text message or email to let you know that your part is ready to pick up. We have over 270 stores where a part can be available to order and collect in 60 minutes Monday-Saturday. Plus remember you can pick up your part 7 days a week from our retail stores Monday-Sunday.
-
2. Home or work delivery
All of our car parts can be ordered to your home or place of work the very next day. Just add your address and we’ll get your parts to you. Please note that deliveries don’t take place on Sundays and that deliveries to the Scottish Highlands or other remote locations may take an extra day.
Shopping in-store
If you’re visiting one of our stores, then you can order any of the parts within our parts library at the parts desk, reception desk or checkout. Just ask a colleague and they’ll be able to choose the correct car parts.
In over 270 of our stores, your chosen parts will be available within one hour, but certain stores may require you to pop back later that day or the next day (for instance if the store is about to close or doesn’t support one hour delivery). In most of these cases, the parts can be delivered to a home or work address the next working day. And please note that the service is not available on Sundays.
Available collection and delivery times are displayed clearly when you go to checkout your basket.
