Balance of positive profile and open areas designed for best performance in complex terrains. Benefit: sweet spot between grip, self-cleaning, adaptivity and rolling characteristics.
The use of steep and shallow ramps are tailored to the area of application in mixed and loose terrain. Benefit: balance between harmonious, easy rolling and power transmission.

The specialist for mixed terrain, the KRYPTOTAL is available in 20 formats to suit front & rear wheel application for Downhill, Enduro and Trail riders.

Thanks to their specially developed pattern designs, KRYPTOTALFr and KRYPTOTALRe achieve the best performance for specific maneuvers on the front and rear wheel and together form the ideal combination for demanding terrain.

Casing Options:
Downhill Casing -
The most durable and reinforced casing in our Gravity range of tyres. Using two 110 tpi (threads per inch) polyamide casing layers (ply), wrapped around an aramid bead to give a 4ply, 440 tpi sidewall and 6ply, 660 tpi under the tread, negating the need for any tyre liners and still giving maximum protection.

For Downhill, Freeride, Super Enduro & Heavy Enduro.
Recommended for 170-200mm travel on conventional and e-Bikes.
Improved elongated Apex insert above the bead for support and snakebite protection.
Tubeless Ready
Cross-Woven chafer textile protects the rim / rim intersection.
4ply sidewall, 6ply under the tread.

Supersoft Compound -
Grippiest choice from our new BlackChili Gravity compound range. Tyres equipped with this compound are for riders with a 100% focus on grip, traction & control. The softest choice for downhill and enduro riders requiring the stickiest tyre for that ultra-important target race where fast descending makes up most of the course.

Soft Compound -
Our new BlackChili soft compound option from our new Gravity range of MTB tyres. The balance between rolling and grip. High levels of grip with a reasonable rolling resistance. This compound option offers DH riders the choice of a slightly harder, longer lasting compound for the rear wheel, or for both wheels on enduro & trail bikes to gain greater value for money from their race tyre set.

Endurance Compound -
The new BlackChili compound for our Gravity range of MTB tyres focussing on a balance between grip & longevity (endurance). With the endurance compound, a high durability in combination with low rolling resistance and grip is achieved. A good compound choice for trail riding or as an endurance focussed compound for e-Bikes.
