The radical new look and feel of our SRAM X-SYNC 2 Chainring 32t 12s, 3mm Boost, Lunar/Polar is a direct result of SRAM drivetrain engineers studying the performance and wear characteristics of thousands of X-SYNC chainrings. The longer, positive-rake tooth shape has been designed to work perfectly with the new Eagle chain to increase chain retention and overall pedalling efficiency, while decreasing friction, noise and wear.
The SRAM X Sync-2 Direct Mount chainrings impress with a significantly smoother chain run and better self-cleaning in muddy conditions compared to their 11-speed predecessors. With the proven alternating thick-thin tooth profile, which is matched to the SRAM Eagle chains, the X-Sync 2 chainrings always hold the chain securely in place.
With the lunar-grey anodization, they fit perfectly into the current XX1 Eagle and X01 Eagle groups. The bare aluminium teeth still look like new after thousands of kilometres, since unsightly, rubbed spots in the anodized coating are not possible.
