Take the strain out of your daily commute or weekend outing with the Carrera Crossfire E. On a single charge the 417Wh battery provides up to 60 miles of pedalling assistance and will propel you on to speeds of 15.5mph. The Suntour rear hub motor with premium torque sensor offers 3 levels of assistance – Climb, Tour, and Eco – so you will have the power you need exactly when you need it. The lightweight alloy frame and 8-speed gearing will help you up the hills, while the Suntour 75mm travel suspension forks will soften the bumps so you stay in control. Tektro disc brakes deliver reliable braking power whilst puncture resistant 700c Kenda K-935 tyres should help prevent a flat tyre from stopping you. If you’re looking for a solid bike that can handle roads and off-road paths alike, the Carrera E should be on your shortlist.
Battery:
With a frame-mounted Li-Ion Phylion battery mounted on the Crossfire E’s down-tube, weight is balanced against the rear mounted hub motor providing an improved ride quality, over those with rear-mounted batteries. With a large battery capacity of 417Wh / 11.58Ah and a range of up to 60miles per charge the Vulcan is very capable of going the distance. As standard on all Carrera E-bikes, the Crossfire comes with an integrated smart control system that protects the battery from overheating, short circuiting or overcharging. The battery re-charges in just 6 hours, and comes with a full 2-year / 500 charge warranty.
Note; The total travel distance will depend on the capacity of the battery, rider and luggage weight, power mode setting and riding style.

Motor:
The Carrera Crossfire E is built around a fantastic Suntour rear hub electric motor system, seemlessly integrated into the rear wheel. The power control in the system is delivered courtesy of a premium Torque sensor, which gradually eases the power in and out in response to your input, providing a natural ride characteristic and a real reason to upgrade from more basic speed sensor systems. The quality of the Torque sensor is really notable when accelerating out of corners and make small, or when making tighter intricate maneuvers. As required by law, the motor will automatically stop assisting you once you achieve a speed of 15.5mph.

Head-Unit:
The electric motor of the Carrera Crossfire is controlled via full LCD Suntour Head Unit. The detachable head unit allows you to choose from one of 4 assistance modes, depending on the level of support you require. The unit also allows the user to view additional data such as Speed and Mileage to provide additional data whilst riding. The display is located centrally, directly below the line of vision whilst riding, allowing you to keep your attention on the road ahead.
