SlimFit™ R129 is still truly the only car seat you’ll ever need and is now safety enhanced by only riding rearward facing when using the 5-point harness and the transitioning forward facing when your child is ready for the highback booster mode. Built to adapt and grow all the way, this 2-in-1 convertible car seat is packed with added features to do just that.
Our original SlimFit convertible car seat has been adapted to meet the EU’s new R129 standards. Most importantly, SlimFit R129 has undergone more extensive side impact testing and ensures your little one stays rearward facing for longer.
2-in-1 convertible car seat
SlimFit R129 easily transitions from a rearward-facing harnessed seat (40-105cm) to a forward-facing highback booster (100-145cm) to adapt as your child grows from baby to big kid.
Interchangeable TrueShield™ side impact protection pod
The side impact protection pod attaches to either side of the car seat. In the event of a collision, it works to reduce the impact and better protects your child from head to hips.
Adjustable width
SlimFit R129 adapts as your child grows both up and out. When the headrest is raised, the side wings of the car seat simultaneously expand, keeping your little one comfortable and safe for as long as they ride in this convertible car seat.
6-position recline
With 2 rearward and 4 forward recline positions, your child will enjoy the ultimate in comfort on each and every ride.
