Frequently Asked
Questions
We sure do! Have a look at the information on this page to find out about our servicing, repair and fitting options. We also offer great service packages to help maintain your bike.
We have service packages to suite every type of rider. Here is a basic breakdown of which parts of the bike are covered:-
- Bronze Service £35: Gears, brakes and tyres
- Silver Service £55: Gears & brakes (inner cables replaced), tyres and wheels
- Gold Service £80: Gears & brakes serviced, tyres, wheels, chain and two common repair parts fitted
- Platinum Service £130: Full strip down to frame with gears, brakes & drivetrain fully serviced, tyres & wheels and all repair parts fitted
The full details of each level of service are shown in section 2 above, and we offer bundles which include adding Puncture Protection to your wheels which can offer great value.
Bronze (The tune up service) is a suitable service if your bike is in good mechanical condition and just needs tuning up. It’s perfect if you ride infrequently or if your bike has not been ridden for some time and you want peace of mind your bike’s safe to ride. This service is also perfect for young kid’s bikes. We’ll check for any signs of wear or damage and complete a 12-part service and adjustment to fine tune your bike’s vital components. Click here for a full description of our Bronze service.
Silver (The interim service) is perfect for frequently used bikes, summer cyclists, and older kids’ bikes. We’d recommend a silver service every 6-12 months. We’ll check for any signs of wear or damage and complete a 15-part service and adjustment process, including replacing the inner brake and gear cables to keep your journey smooth and safe. Click here for a full description of our Silver service.
Gold (The Enhanced service) perfect for frequently used bikes and regular commuters. We’d recommend one every 12-18 months. We will complete an 18-part service and adjustment process including a full brake and gear service where we’ll replace inner and outer gear and brake cables, lubricate, adjust and align the gears and check and lubricate the drivetrain. Regularly used bikes build up a lot of dirt and grime on the chain, so we’ll also remove and deep clean your chain in our parts washer. In addition we’ll check for any signs of wear or damage, and if we find any common wearable parts need replacing (this covers your brake pads, levers, chain, inner tube, tyres, freewheel, gear shifter or hanger) we’ll fit two new parts for no extra charge (cost of additional parts not included).
Platinum (The Major service) is perfect for frequently used bikes, keen cyclists, and daily commuters. We’d recommend one every 18-24 months. A platinum service includes a full strip down of the bike to its frame and bottom bracket. No component will be overlooked, no matter how big or small. We’ll replace your inner and outer cables as part of a full brake and gear service, and key parts will be thoroughly cleaned in our parts washer, ready to be fitted, lubricated, and set up to run like new. If we find any parts need replacing, we’ll fit them for no additional charge. (cost of additional parts not included).
Our full list of servicing, repair and fitting options is shown above, along with the prices for each. These prices start from £5.
